El Meridian is a sunken ship resting on the sandy seabed near a rocky reef. Originally a minesweeper during World War II, it was later converted into a fishing vessel. In 1973, Wolfgang Mertis restored and renovated the ship, after which it served as a tourist boat. Today, El Meridian has become an artificial reef, supporting a rich and diverse marine ecosystem. The wreck is just a 20-minute boat ride from our dive center. Divers descend along the anchor line and can explore the interior of the ship. Moderate currents may be present, adding an exciting challenge to the dive.

Depth: max 28 m

Level: advanced divers, ideal for PADI Wreck specialty.
