By booking or participating in any diving or snorkelling activity organised by Travel Sub Dive Center, the participant declares that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

 

1. General Regulations
All diving and snorkeling activities are conducted in accordance with Spanish law and international recreational diving standards. Participation is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.

All participants must follow the instructions of the dive professionals at all times. Failure to do so may result in termination of the activity without refund.

2. Age Requirements
Minimum age for diving: 8 years old, subject to instructor approval.
All participants under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult participates as a snorkeler and pays the standard snorkeling price.

Minors must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
Travel Sub Dive Center reserves the right to refuse participation to any minor if safety conditions are not met.

 

3. Medical Fitness to Dive

All participants must confirm that they are medically fit to dive.

Participants with any of the following conditions must present a valid medical certificate from a doctor authorizing diving: 

• Pregnancy

• Asthma

• Heart or lung conditions

• Recent surgery

• Diabetes

• Epilepsy

• Any condition that may affect safety

If a participant fails to disclose a medical condition or provides false information, Travel Sub Dive Center assumes no responsibility.

No refunds will be issued if participation is refused due to medical reasons or lack of a required medical certificate.

 

4. Medical Fitness to Dive

Before the activity, all participants must complete and sign a medical questionnaire and liability release form.
If required, a medical certificate must be presented before the activity.

5. Equipment and Safety

All equipment provided by Travel Sub Dive Center is certified and regularly maintained.
Participants agree to use the equipment correctly and report any issues immediately.

Certified instructors or dive guides will supervise all activities.

 

6. Loss or Damage to Equipment

Participants are responsible for the proper use of all equipment provided.

In case of loss or damage to equipment, the participant agrees to compensate Travel Sub Dive Center according to the following rates:

• Snorkeling fins - 20 Euro

• Diving fins - 70 Euro

• Snorkeling mask - 25 Euro

• Diving msk - 65 Euro

• Wet suit - 80 Euro

• Diving computer - 350 Euro

• Torch - 80 Euro

(Prices to be determined by Travel Sub Dive Center.)

 

7. Certified Divers

All participants who are already certified divers must present a valid diving certification card (e.g., PADI, SSI, CMAS) and, if required by Travel Sub Dive Center, a recent online verification of certification.

Divers must also complete a medical questionnaire before each activity. If a medical condition exists (e.g., asthma, heart or lung disease, recent surgery, diabetes, epilepsy), a valid medical certificate from a doctor authorizing diving is mandatory.

Travel Sub Dive Center reserves the right to refuse participation to any certified diver if documentation is missing or safety conditions are not met.

 

• Refreshers

Certified divers who have not dived in the last 12 months are strongly advised to complete a Refresher course (Scuba Review) in accordance with PADI standards before participating in deeper or more complex dives.

Participation in dives without a Refresher is at the diver’s own risk. Travel Sub Dive Center does not assume responsibility for any incidents resulting from failure to complete a Refresher.

• Nitrox Diving

Divers who wish to use enriched air (Nitrox) must:

• Have Nitrox certification

• Be aware of the risks associated with Nitrox diving

• Follow all safety procedures as instructed

Travel Sub Dive Center does not assume responsibility for any complications or incidents arising from Nitrox use if the diver fails to follow instructions, exceeds certified limits, or dives without proper Nitrox training.

• DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle / Underwater Scooter)

Use of DPVs (underwater scooters) is only permitted for certified divers trained in DPV use.
Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by the dive center and instructors.

Travel Sub Dive Center does not assume responsibility for accidents, injuries, or damage resulting from misuse of DPVs, failure to follow instructions, or exceeding safe operating limits.

 

8. Weather Conditions
Activities are subject to weather and sea conditions.
For safety reasons, the centre may modify, postpone or cancel activities, offering an alternative or refund at its discretion.

 

9. Cancellations and No-shows

• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice: non-refundable.

• No-shows or late arrivals: non-refundable.

• Cancellations for medical reasons not communicated in time: non-refundable.

10. Refusal of Participation

Travel Sub Dive Center reserves the right to refuse participation without refund if:

• The participant is under the influence of alcohol or drugs

• Safety instructions are ignored

• Medical or physical conditions make participation unsafe

• The participant poses a risk to themselves or others

 

11. Liability
Diving and snorkelling involve inherent risks.
Participants agree to hold Travel Sub Dive Center harmless, except in cases of gross negligence under Spanish law.

 

12. Photography and Media
Images and videos taken during activities may be used for promotional purposes unless expressly objected to in writing.

 

12. Acceptance of Terms
Booking and/or participation in any activity implies express acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
